South Korea
Requirements of South Korean Universities
The South Korean system is a highly competitive, holistic "document screening" process. It is document-intensive, with a heavy, equal emphasis on your academic record, language proficiency, and two key essays.
Diploma and transcripts (must be Apostilled or Consular-verified).
Essays: Personal Statement and Study Plan. (Most important, as this is where you differentiate yourself beyond your grades).
Language Proficiency: TOPIK score (for Korean-taught) or TOEFL/IELTS (for English-taught).
Nationality Documents: Proof of applicant's and both parents' nationality (e.g., passports, birth certificate).
