Japan University Requirements
The Japanese system is defined by a strict two-track model. Students must choose either the traditional Japanese-taught track (requiring the EJU exam) or the modern English-taught track (requiring SAT/IB/ACT scores).
Exam Entrance: Your EJU score (for Japanese-track) or your SAT/ACT/IB scores (for English-track). (Most important, this is the primary screening tool).
Diploma and transcripts (must be certified by your school).
Language Proficiency: JLPT N1 (for Japanese-track) or TOEFL/IELTS (for English-track).
Essay: "Reason for Application" (Shibo Riyusho).
Certificate of Eligibility (CoE) (required after admission for your visa).
