Hong Kong University Requirements
The Hong Kong system is a metrics-first process that mirrors the UK system. Admission is primarily determined by standardized exam scores (IB, A-Levels, SAT/APs), which are then supplemented by a UK-style academic personal statement and a selective interview.
Standardized Test Scores: IB Diploma/Predicted Grades, A-Levels, or SAT/ACT + AP scores. (Most important, this is the primary basis for admission).
High school transcripts.
English Proficiency: IELTS or TOEFL (if not exempted).
Essay: A UK-style academic Personal Statement.
Interview (very common and important for shortlisted applicants).
