Requirements of Taiwan Universities
Taiwan's application system is academic and grades-based. It is well-organized and offers a large number of high-quality Bachelor's programs taught in both English and Mandarin Chinese.
The process is very document-focused. You must have your high school documents officially authenticated by a Taiwanese embassy/representative office in your home country, which is a key bureaucratic step.
Prepare & Authenticate Documents:
This is the most time-consuming step. You must get your original high school diploma and transcripts officially authenticated or "legalized" by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in your country and by the Taiwanese embassy or representative office.
Academic Records: Your high school diploma and transcripts, officially authenticated by the Taiwanese embassy.
Language Certificate: TOCFL (for Chinese programs) or IELTS/TOEFL (for English programs).
Passport Copy
Proof of Financial Means: A recent bank statement showing you have sufficient funds (e.g., approx. $4,000 - $7,000 USD).
