Requirements Of Chinese Universities

The Chinese system is a decentralized, metrics-driven process where you apply to each university individually. Top C9-League schools are increasingly reliant on international standardized tests, and the Chinese Government Scholarship (CGS) is a critical, parallel application.

  • Diploma and transcripts (must be legalized by the Chinese Embassy or Apostilled).

  • Standardized Tests: HSK 5/6 (for Chinese-taught) or SAT/ACT/IB scores (for English-taught). (Most important, as top schools use this for screening).
