Characteristics of New Zealand Universities

New Zealand's system is much more holistic and personal, similar to the US. Your Statement of Purpose (SOP) is a central and mandatory part of your application. Admission is based on both your grades and your personal justification for studying. 

1. Academic Records: High school transcripts and final diploma.

2. English Language Certificate: IELTS (typically 6.0 overall) or TOEFL.

3. Passport Copy

4. Statement of Purpose (SOP) / Letter of Motivation: (This is the main essay and it is critical). 

5. Letter of Recommendation
